Our first Day...

We had a lot of fun discovering all things dinosaur with our band of intrepid Young Explorers. WIth children from 3 - 7, and their families, we researched, played, made, sketched, filmed and animated our way back in time to a Prehistoric Land, where we met such incredible creatures are the Coloursaurus (created entirely from recycled boxes and sign writing vinyl off cuts).

NEW LEASE OF LIFE FOR OLD SCHOOL The Invisible Orchard: a creative atelier with a community focus

Welcome to The Invisible Orchard.

For the last 20 years, Adam and Victoria have worked to inspire and engage people of all ages in creative experiences. Now, they are coming together with their five year old son, to set up The Invisible Orchard. Transforming The Old School in Morland (next door to The Mill Yard Cafe) into an atelier, their vision is to provide a studio-based learning environment for their family and others to create and discover through art, making, digital games, technology, poetry, storytelling and much, much more.

“The Invisible Orchard is about bringing together our experiences, skills and intentions, both as artists and practitioners and as parents, to create an inspiring space that is filled with possibilities, a space that encourages curiosity, creativity, investigation and collaboration”.

To kick this off, they are hosting a series of exciting Summer Weeks, including The Wizard's Apprentice; Adventures in Minecraft; Uncharted Oceans: An Animated Voyage; Game School: Rise to the Challenge, and How to be a Jedi: Introduction to Jedi Principles and Practice.

They will be opening their doors over the weekend of 12th - 14th July 2013, for people to come along and find out more about their plans and forthcoming events. There will be the opportunity to have a go at something creative, book onto workshops and sign up to the Seed Planters scheme, which will give you discounts on all activities hosted at the Orchard.

An exciting programme of creative events for all ages will be on offer through the year.
