Wild Women Workshops & Gatherings
"...One day you finally knew
what you had to do, and began…"
(Mary Oliver, The Journey)
Dear Wild and Wonderful Woman,
You know that voice that will not be quiet, even when you don't want to listen to the truth it tells you within? You know the woman who will not sit back when she hears things that are unjust? You know that urge to dance barefoot in the sand or to dig your toes into the forest floor and smell the scent of the earth rise up? You know that strength that keeps you getting up and loving, even when you feel exhausted by life and all it brings? You know that woman who paints bold brushstrokes across her life, who writes poems, who sings in the car and dances in the rain? You know that woman who you wonder if anyone will ever understand or accept? You know that howl, that belly laugh, that passion, that dream you have deep in the heart of your breast, even when you hide it? That is the scent of the wild woman. That is your wild woman. That is you!
Whether you are grey in the coat or still shedding the furs of youth, the wild woman lives in every woman. And even when we try to keep her quiet, she just won't let go. She is your unique fire, your beauty, your wonder-filled self. And there are lots of us out there.
Wild Women workshops and gatherings are a space where you can come along and discover, celebrate and share that amazing woman and all the ideas and creativity she holds. That you hold.
Wherever you are on your journey, give yourself the gift of time and make today the day you begin...
I look forward to meeting you.

Are you finding that having children is a creative experience but one that leaves little time for your own creativity, or connection to other creative women? Are you an artist who has taken a break from practice to have children? Are you a mother returning to practice after having a break from your creative work? Would you like the opportunity to meet with other creative women, share ideas and connect and get creative together? Then this is for you. Children are welcome to accompany, but please note you will be required to keep an eye on them if they do (there are toys, books and creative materials that are on hand). If enough women are interested and bringing children, we may be able to arrange someone to come in and supervise children during the session at a shared extra cost.
